Solution 1: Perform the QuickBooks Payroll Update Manually


  • First, Open QuickBooks accounting
  • Then, QuickBooks update service and choose Install Later option
  • Select Help, then Update QuickBooks
  • Select Update Now option
  • Click on OK button to confirm the reset
  • Reset QuickBooks
  • Select Install now option
  • Select Download entire payroll Update to update the payroll completely
  • Choose Update

Solution 2: Set User Account Setting


  • First, Go to control panel
  • Open the user account settings
  • Select “Never Notify” option, click on the OK
  • Restart system

Solution 3: Set Internet Explorer as Default Browser


  • Go to the bar in the start Window screen
  • Check the app default
  • Search web browser
  • Now set the Internet Explorer as the default

  • Login and Open QuickBooks in Safe mode
