HOW AND WHERE TO USE ENVIRONMENTAL TEST:
Environmental testing chambers have precise control of appropriate parameters to create repeatable environmental conditions. Test chambers are suitable for numerous applications: biological research, product life, stability and packaging testing, light exposure and temperature assessment studies, electronic component firing, plant growth, polymer testing and much more. Environmental testing chambers come in a variety of models and sizes, ranging from a few liters (chamber) to several thousand cubic meters (space) and feature a wide temperature and relative humidity (RH) range.
Tests on these equipment are performed in accordance with the testing principles of Life Test and Stress Test. These tests subject the product to a series of stresses, forcing the product to face extreme conditions, accelerating fatigue and end of life. These reliability tests focus on finding defects in products so they can be fixed before they become problems in the marketplace.
Voltages are applied in a controlled manner and incremented while the unit under test is continuously monitored for faults. Once weaknesses are detected, product limits are clearly defined, such as shelf life, storage temperature, light exposure, etc.

GUIDELINES OF ENVIRONMENTAL TEST CHAMBER:

Validation must be performed regularly to ensure that an environmental room or cabinet performs accurately and repeatable.The validation of an environmental chamber consists of several steps relating to Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualifications (OQ) and Performance Qualifications (PQ).
Installation Qualification (IQ) is conducted to demonstrate that the chamber that is inspected contains all parts necessary for its proper functioning. During the Operational Qualifications (OQ) the performance of the clearinghouse and its operational procedure are verified. OQ consists of mapping empty chamber parameters and is performed to confirm that the empty chamber works within specified limits across the chamber. The OQ also contains information about the calibration of measuring equipment and defines the location of thermocouples / data loggers in the stability chamber. The Performance Qualifications (PQ) verifies that the loaded environmental test chamber is able to meet and maintain the acceptance parameter and confirms that the loaded chamber operates within specified limits.
